Play Monster Max Online
You're a guitar-slinging monster in blocky isometric dungeons—dodge traps, solve puzzles with A/B buttons, and take missions in any order while saving rock n' roll from a music-hating king.

Monster Max came out for the Game Boy in 1994, developed by Rare and published by Titus. It was one of those late-era titles that tried to push the hardware a bit further, with an isometric view that gave the small screen a surprising sense of depth. You don't see many games on the system that look or play quite like it.
You control Max, a guitar-playing monster who explores maze-like dungeons screen by screen. Your main goal is to rescue kidnapped musicians by finding keys, avoiding traps, and solving environmental puzzles. Combat is simple; you stun enemies by hitting them, but you can't actually kill anything. The game lets you tackle missions in any order, which was pretty uncommon back then. It moves at a deliberate pace, and some puzzles require careful timing or backtracking. Playing it feels like slowly untangling a knot, piece by piece.
