What surprised me was how much it leans into exploration. You’ll sneak past guards in Hidden Leaf Village, solve dumb little ninja puzzles, and even chase down that weird cat from the filler episodes. The sprite work’s charmingly retro, and the music? Pure early-2000s Naruto nostalgia. It’s not perfect—some of the grinding drags—but when you land a combo with Sasuke and Sakura, it just clicks.
