Play Nekketsu! Street Basket - Ganbare Dunk Heroes (Japan) Online
Pick your brawler, toss elbows on the court, and dunk through one of three hoops while someone’s probably getting suplexed in the background. Pure NES chaos with steel chairs and no rules.

Nekketsu! Street Basket - Ganbare Dunk Heroes came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, developed by Technos Japan. It was part of that late NES era when developers were really pushing the hardware to do more, and this one definitely stands out from the usual sports titles of the time.
You control one of several characters from the Kunio-kun series, each with their own stats and special moves, in a three-on-three basketball game where fighting is just as important as scoring. The main objective is to outscore the opposing team, but you spend as much time punching opponents and dodging weapons as you do dribbling the ball. Signature mechanics include being able to pick up and throw items like trash cans or steel chairs at other players, and pulling off special dunks that require precise timing and often involve slamming the ball through one of three different hoops. The pacing is frantic, almost chaotic, and the difficulty can spike sharply against later teams who fight dirty without remorse. It feels less like playing a sport and more like surviving a playground brawl that just happens to have a basketball somewhere in the mix.
