Play Nobunaga's Ambition_DiskB Online
Turn-based strategy game set in feudal Japan. Manage armies, resources, and diplomacy to unify the nation. Features tactical battles, technology research, and historical events. Released for Amiga.

I picked up Nobunaga's Ambition: DiskB on the Amiga back in the day, a release from Koei that quietly made its way west. It was one of those deep, thoughtful strategy games that felt right at home on a platform known for its serious simulations and complex management titles. You didn't see many games tackling Sengoku-era Japan with this level of detail, especially not in the West, so it always stood out as something different from the usual action or adventure fare.
You take control of a daimyo, managing provinces, raising armies, and negotiating with rival clans through diplomacy or force. The main goal is to conquer all of Japan, which involves moving troops across a strategic map, engaging in turn-based tactical battles, and developing your lands to support larger campaigns. Researching new military technologies and managing your economy are constant concerns, and the pacing is deliberate, demanding careful long-term planning. It feels like conducting a slow, methodical campaign where every decision carries weight, and a single misstep can unravel years of progress.
