So, Nova 9 picks up right after Stellar 7—you're back in the Raven II tank, hunting down Gir Draxon after he mysteriously vanished. The cockpit view makes it feel like you're really piloting this thing, scanning planets for hostiles while trying not to get blown to bits.
The weapons are satisfyingly chunky, and I love that you can scavenge upgrades from wrecked enemies—nothing like salvaging a fresh energy module mid-battle when you're down to 10% health. The cloaking device saved my skin more times than I’d like to admit, especially on the later planets where everything wants you dead.
It’s got that classic Amiga feel—tough but fair, with just enough strategy in picking your fights. If you liked the first one, this is more of that, but with a few nice tweaks.
