Obsession_Disk2 is one of those Amiga pinball games that nails the vibe of real tables without overcomplicating things. You get four totally different tables—my favorite’s the spy one, where the sound effects make every bumper hit feel like you’re cracking some secret code. The Paris-Dakar table’s got this weirdly satisfying truck engine rev when you hit the ramps.
No multi-ball here, but each table has its own little quirks. The baseball one’s got this annoying (in a good way) pitching machine that keeps messing up your shots. And yeah, the highscore table’s brutal—took me forever to even crack the top five. The underwater table’s music alone is worth a play, all bubbly and hypnotic.
It’s not flashy by today’s standards, but there’s something about the way the ball physics feel just slightly off that makes it weirdly addictive. You’ll swear the game’s cheating when it drains your ball, but then you’ll immediately hit restart.
