On The Road for the Amiga is one of those deep, slightly chaotic management sims where you run a trucking company across Europe—and somehow end up spending half your time dealing with lawsuits and shady airport deals. You start by hiring drivers, buying trucks, and taking on jobs, but things escalate fast when you realize you can undercut rivals by ignoring Austria’s night driving ban or hiring a sketchy "specialist" to sabotage competitors.
The office screen feels like an actual workspace—click the phone to call drivers, check the map for deliveries, or panic when the police fine you for overweight trucks. The radio system is weirdly immersive; you’re literally barking orders at pixelated truckers while watching their routes crawl across Europe. And yes, you will forget to rest, collapse from exhaustion, and wake up to find your drivers stranded in Milan with no fuel.
It’s the kind of game where you lose three hours arguing with a virtual bank manager over loan terms, then realize you forgot to insure your fleet. Glorious mess.
