Play Operation Secret Storm Online
NES side-scroller where you play as a CIA agent kicking, punching, and bombing your way through Saddam's forces in Iraq/Kuwait. Desert camels included.

Operation Secret Storm came out in 1991 for the NES, published by Color Dreams. It was one of those many games that tried to capitalize on the Gulf War, a common theme at the time, and it definitely feels like a product of that era. You don't see many people talk about it now, but it was there on the shelf, another cartridge in a sea of side-scrollers.
You control a lone CIA agent fighting through enemy soldiers across desert and military base environments. Your main goal is to push from left to right, screen by screen, eliminating everyone in your path. You have a standard jump, a punch, and a kick; your most useful weapon is a limited supply of bombs that clear the screen of smaller enemies. The pacing is relentless, with enemies spawning constantly, and the difficulty spikes quickly, demanding precise jumps and careful bomb management. It feels like a constant, slightly clumsy brawl against an endless wave of foes.
