Play P-Man (Japan) Online
Dodge fireballs in neon mazes, flip switches under pressure—it looks like Pac-Man at first, but this SNES weirdo plays by its own chaotic rules. That one level with moving platforms will haunt you until you crack it.

P-Man (Japan) is one of those weird little SNES games that somehow slipped under the radar back in the day. At first glance, yeah, it looks like a Pac-Man knockoff—but give it five minutes and you’ll realize it’s doing its own thing. The mazes are packed with hazards, weird power-ups, and enemies that don’t just mindlessly chase you. Sometimes you’re flipping switches, other times you’re racing against a timer while dodging fireballs. It’s chaotic in the best way.
The pixel art pops with these bright, almost neon colors, and the music? Pure early ‘90s charm—bouncy, slightly off-kilter synth tracks that stick in your head. I got stuck on this one level with moving platforms for way too long, but when it finally clicked, it felt amazing. Definitely more strategy here than you’d expect from a maze game.
If you’ve got a soft spot for oddball retro games that play by their own rules, P-Man’s a blast. Just don’t go in expecting a straight-up Pac-Man clone.
