Game Overview

Pac-Man World 3 came out for the PlayStation Portable in 2005, developed by Namco. It was part of that early wave of PSP games that tried to bring console-style platforming to a handheld, with mixed but often interesting results. You control Pac-Man through a series of themed levels, using a mix of jumps, rolls, and a new punch attack to take down enemies. The main goal involves stopping Erwin, a scientist whose experiments threaten the spirit world. Key mechanics include the Rev Roll, which lets you dash into obstacles or enemies, and the Butt Bounce, used for ground pounds and activating switches. The pacing is brisk, with some tricky platforming sections and occasional combat arenas. It feels like a straightforward, slightly janky action platformer that doesn't overstay its welcome.
