Plan 9 From Outer Space_Disk2 is one of those weird, janky Amiga games that somehow works because it leans into its own absurdity. You play as the film’s producer, hunting down Bela Lugosi’s double (who, of course, stole the movie). The whole thing feels like stumbling through a fever dream—half movie lot, half surreal town, filled with characters who seem just as confused as you are.
Controls are clunky in that classic early '90s way, but honestly, it fits the vibe. One minute you’re interrogating a guy who might be an alien, the next you’re dodging what looks like a very angry prop director. The pixel art nails the B-movie aesthetic, all exaggerated shadows and stiff animations. If you’ve ever wanted to experience Plan 9 as an interactive disaster, this is as close as it gets.
Just don’t expect it to make much sense—but then again, neither did the movie.
