Game Overview
Power Drive is one of those Amiga racers that feels like you're constantly fighting the car—in a good way. The steering's loose enough that you'll be sliding all over the place, especially when you yank the handbrake around tight corners. It’s got that satisfying rally vibe where half the fun is barely keeping control.
You start off with time trials to get the hang of it, then move on to racing against the AI—which gets pretty aggressive. There’s also these weird little skill challenges that pop up between stages. The tracks jump from snowy Sweden to dusty Kenya, and the damage system keeps things tense: win prize money, but blow it all on repairs if you crash too much. By the eighth round, you’ll either master the slides or rage-quit. No in-between.
