Push-Over came out on the Amiga in 1992 from Ocean Software, and it was one of those games that felt clever without being showy. It fit right into the era when puzzle games were starting to get more physical and interactive, not just about matching or guessing. You played as an ant, which was a fun change from the usual heroes or adventurers.

You control the ant, moving him around each screen to push dominoes in the right order so they fall and trigger switches, open doors, or clear a path to the objective, which is usually a snack you need to collect. The dominoes come in different types; some fall immediately, others need a nudge from a nearby collapse, and a few are timed or behave in unexpected ways. The game requires careful planning because if you push the wrong domino first, you might block your own progress or even crush your ant under a falling piece. It starts simple but gets seriously tricky in the later stages, and finishing a difficult level gives a real sense of satisfaction.
