R.C. Pro-Am II takes everything that made the first game fun and cranks it up a notch. You're still racing those little toy cars, but now there's way more to think about—like saving up for engine upgrades or better tires (those dollar signs on the track suddenly feel way more important). The tracks get wilder too, with random stuff like tiny planes dropping bombs on you. And thank goodness they fixed the instant-death-if-you-come-in-last thing—now you actually get a few tries before it's game over. The blue and green cars are still jerks, though.
