Download Race Drivin'_Disk0 ROM โ Amiga Game
1990 Amiga racing game with arcade-style handling, multiple tracks, and upgradable cars. Features Time Attack and Championship modes.
Game Overview
Race Drivin' Disk0 came out for the Amiga in 1990, developed by Tiertex Design Studios. It was one of those early polygonal racers that tried to capture the feel of the arcade cabinet at home. The graphics were blocky, even for the time, but it had a certain charm if you were into simulation-style driving games on the platform.
You control a low-polygon sports car, aiming to set the fastest lap times or win championships across several tracks. The signature mechanics include a manual transmission with clutch, a force feedback steering model that requires careful counter-steering, and the ability to upgrade your car's engine and tires between events. The pacing is deliberate, almost sluggish at first, and the difficulty is steep; mastering the drift-heavy physics takes patience. It feels like wrestling with a stubborn machine that occasionally rewards you with a perfect corner.
