Play Reign of Fire Online
You alternate between shooting dragons as a soldier and being the dragon—torching bases, snatching helicopters mid-flight, and watching everything burn in satisfying GBA explosions.

Reign of Fire came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by Kuju Entertainment and published by BAM! Entertainment. It was part of that wave of licensed games that tried to capture the feel of the movie, and on the GBA, it stood out for letting you play as both human and dragon. The hardware limitations meant the action was scaled down, but it still offered something different from the usual platformers and RPGs of the time.
You control either a human soldier armed with a rifle or a massive dragon capable of flight and destruction. As the human, your goal is to shoot down dragons and complete missions across a series of maps; as the dragon, you burn military installations, snatch helicopters from the sky, and cause general chaos. The game uses a mission based structure with simple overhead shooting for human segments and free roaming fire breathing for the dragon parts. It moves at a steady pace, though some missions can feel repetitive after a while. Playing it feels like switching between two very different kinds of power fantasy, each with its own simple but satisfying loop.
