Ever thought about playing Resident Evil 2 on a Game Boy Advance? This weird little tech demo is exactly that—a stripped-down, pixelated version of the survival horror classic. You still get the creepy Raccoon City Police Department halls, the groaning zombies, and that same tense atmosphere, just squeezed into a tiny screen with crunchy GBA graphics.
The sound design is surprisingly eerie for a handheld, with these distorted chiptune groans and footsteps that somehow make it even creepier. It’s not the full game, obviously, but stumbling through dimly lit corridors with limited ammo still feels unnerving. Kind of amazing how well the horror translates, even with blocky sprites.
More of a novelty than anything, but if you’re into Resident Evil or weird gaming relics, it’s a fun little "what if?" to mess around with. Makes you wonder how a full GBA port would’ve turned out.
