Game Overview
Reunion_Disk2 is one of those deep, old-school Amiga strategy games where you’re basically trying to rebuild civilization from scratch—but in space. You start off with a ragtag colony on New Earth, generations after your ancestors barely escaped a coup back home. Now it’s up to you to mine weird space minerals, research tech, and eventually build a fleet strong enough to retake Earth. Ambitious, right?
The whole thing plays out through these dense menus where you assign commanders (some are way better—and pricier—than others), schedule construction, and decide which planets to scout next. There’s even a bar where your crew hangs out, and yeah, you can eavesdrop on gossip there. It’s got that classic ‘90s vibe where everything’s a bit clunky but weirdly charming, especially when you realize half your problems come from not having enough of that one specific mineral buried on some distant rock.
If you’re into slow-burn strategy where you’re juggling a dozen things at once, this one’s worth digging into. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand.
