You start off with a basic slash attack, but within minutes you’re dashing through enemies, chaining combos, and unlocking these weirdly satisfying special moves that make the screen explode with pixels.

The controls just feel right—responsive in that way where you know exactly why you got hit (usually because you got greedy with attacks). And the sprite work? Gorgeous. Everything’s got this chunky, colorful look that screams early 2000s handheld charm. Sure, the story’s mostly there to give you an excuse to slash through hordes of enemies, but honestly, that’s all I needed.
