Road Rash Jailbreak (E) is one of those GBA games that feels chaotic in the best way. You're racing bikes, sure, but half the time you're swinging at other riders or getting rammed by cops. The controls take a minute to get used to—hitting someone while keeping your bike steady is harder than it looks.
First race in, I got knocked off my bike almost immediately because I didn't realize how aggressive the AI is. The roads are narrow, so dodging traffic while fighting makes everything tense. Sometimes you'll barely scrape by a cop bike, other times you'll eat pavement because someone kicked you at the wrong moment.
It's not polished, but that roughness kind of fits the game. Road Rash Jailbreak (E) is messy, fast, and doesn't take itself too seriously. If you're okay with a little jank, it's a fun throwback.
