Game Overview
Road Rash: Jailbreak on the GBA is exactly what you’d hope for—messy, chaotic motorcycle racing where punching people off their bikes is just part of the fun. You start by picking one of three riders (I went with the brawler first, but the speedster’s actually way better for tight corners). Then it’s straight into Wild Race, weaving through traffic while throwing elbows or swinging a chain at anyone dumb enough to get close.
If you’re feeling lawful, Cop Patrol flips the script—now you’re the one chasing down reckless riders. Time Attack’s just you against the clock, no distractions, and Survival mode? Brutal. One crash and you’re done. The two-player mode’s a nice touch, though good luck finding someone who won’t rage quit after you shove them into a police barricade.
Between races, you dump your winnings into upgrades—better speed, tougher armor, or a nastier weapon for next time. And yeah, the password save system’s a little old-school, but at least you don’t lose your progress. It’s dumb, violent, and exactly what I wanted from a handheld Road Rash.
