Play Robot Wars - Advanced Destruction (U)(Oldskool) Online
Control a robot, navigate arenas, and disable opponents with saws, flippers, or claws in fast-paced battles.
Robot Wars: Advanced Destruction came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Crawfish Interactive and published by BBC Multimedia. It was part of that early wave of GBA titles trying to capture the chaotic energy of the TV show, back when portable 3D arenas still felt a little rough around the edges.
You control one of several licensed robots from the series, navigating small, enclosed arenas with the goal of disabling your opponents using weapons like spinning saws, flippers, or crushing claws. The game uses a top-down perspective, and much of the strategy comes from positioning and timing your attacks while managing limited battery power. Matches are fast and often unpredictable, thanks to physics that can send your bot skidding or leave it momentarily helpless. It feels scrappy and a little clumsy in a way that somehow fits the makeshift nature of battling homemade machines.
