Game Overview

If you've played Mega Man 5 enough times that you can beat it in your sleep, this hack by Tar might just wake you back up. It's the same Blue Bomber action you remember—charging shots, stealing robot master weapons, those weird little platforms that disappear if you hesitate too long—but with some clever tweaks that keep you on your toes. The difficulty's been nudged up in places, and there are a few surprises I won't spoil (let's just say some boss patterns aren't quite what you memorized).

Proto Man's still being shady, the music's still ridiculously catchy, and Wily's base still has that one obnoxious jump everyone misses the first time. But now when you die to Gravity Man's stage for the third time, at least you can blame the hack instead of your reflexes. It's familiar enough to feel like coming home, but just unpredictable enough to make you pay attention.
