Game Overview

RockMan EXE 4 Tournament Red Sun is the kind of GBA game that makes you forget you're holding a tiny handheld. You start off in Lan's shoes, running around the real world while MegaMan.EXE does the heavy lifting in cyberspace—except "heavy lifting" here means dodging attacks in real-time while frantically selecting Battle Chips from your custom deck. It's chaotic in the best way.

The Red Sun version throws in these ridiculous fire-based transformations that make GutsMan look like he just walked out of a volcano. I remember fumbling through my first few battles before realizing half the fun is experimenting with weird chip combos—like pairing a flamethrower with a time-stopper just to watch viruses panic. The tournament structure keeps things tense, and the new exclusive chips actually feel worth hunting down instead of just being filler.

If you've played Blue Moon, the differences aren't just cosmetic—Red Sun's whole vibe is more aggressive, like the game itself is overheating. Still totally playable for newcomers, though. Just expect to lose a few rounds while figuring out why samurai swords work better with certain Navi customizers. The pixel art still holds up, especially when everything explodes in those crunchy GBA colors.
