The first few turns always feel like blind luck, but then you start spotting patterns—like how the computer loves to cluster ships in the corners, or that one time it left its battleship completely exposed. The graphics are as simple as it gets (tiny pixel ships, a grid, and some explosion effects), but that just means nothing distracts from the slow, delicious panic when you realize you've only got one ship left.
