Remember Sensible Soccer? Same folks made a golf game, and it’s exactly what you’d expect—no fancy physics or wind calculations, just quick, arcade-style golf where you focus on lining up shots and nailing the timing. The greens have these little slope arrows, and that’s about as complex as the terrain gets. Mostly, you’re just avoiding water and sand while trying not to overshoot.

Controls are dead simple: aim, then tap the button three times to set power and curve. The game suggests clubs for you, but you can override it if you’re feeling bold (or reckless). There’s even a handy pop-up map when you get disoriented—which happens more than you’d think on some of these recycled holes.

You can play a quick 18, grind through a whole season, or cram 72 players into a tournament. It’s not a golf sim—more like golf-themed target practice with a weirdly satisfying rhythm. If you miss the Amiga era’s no-nonsense approach to sports games, this one’s a solid swing.
