Play Sensible Golf Online
You whack tiny golfers off the screen with questionable physics, then fight the greens like they're made of ice—Jon Hare's soundtrack keeps you company while you wonder why you're not playing Sensible Soccer instead.

Sensible Golf came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, developed by Sensible Software. It arrived during a period when PC gaming was expanding beyond text adventures and into more visually driven experiences, though it never reached the same level of recognition as the studio's soccer title.
You control a golfer viewed from an isometric perspective, aiming to complete each hole in as few strokes as possible. The game is played screen by screen; after each shot, the view shifts to follow the ball's new position. Signature mechanics include adjusting power and accuracy with a simple meter, and accounting for environmental factors like wind and terrain slope that directly affect the ball's roll. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, and the challenge comes from reading the course rather than executing complex inputs. It feels like a quiet, slightly quirky puzzle dressed as a sports game.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
