Signature mechanics include the lock-on strafing system, which uses the shoulder buttons to circle enemies while keeping your aim fixed, and the screen-by-screen exploration that gates progress until all foes in an area are eliminated. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty can spike sharply when larger enemy groups appear. It feels like a condensed, sometimes cramped version of the classic run-and-gun chaos, testing your reflexes within the limits of the hardware.
