Oh man, Settlers on the Amiga—what a classic. You start with a handful of little dudes and a patch of land, and before long you're orchestrating this whole medieval economy like some kind of feudal overlord. The way your workers automatically haul resources, build roads, and expand your territory still feels satisfying decades later.
That second disk though—it's where things really open up. More terrain types, tougher AI opponents, and these massive maps that'll have you strategizing for hours. The pixel art holds up surprisingly well too, with all those tiny animations of miners digging or lumberjacks chopping.
Just don't expect it to hold your hand. Figuring out supply chains and military upgrades takes some trial and error, but that's half the charm.
