Play Shark Tale (E)(Rising Sun) Online
Dodge sharks as Oscar, pull off ridiculous dance moves, and race through coral reefs—it's all chaotic underwater fun with that early 2000s charm.

Shark Tale for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2004, developed by Vicarious Visions. It was one of those licensed games that showed up everywhere around movie releases back then, and this one tried to capture the underwater hustle of the animated film. The GBA had a ton of these side-scrolling platformers, and Shark Tale fit right into that mix without trying to reinvent the wheel.
You play as Oscar, a little fish with big dreams, swimming through levels full of predators and obstacles. The main goal is to earn enough cash to pay back a loan shark, which you do by collecting pearls, completing mini-games, and avoiding enemies. Signature mechanics include rhythm-based dance sequences where you tap buttons in time, and racing sections where you navigate narrow coral tunnels. The pacing is brisk, with short levels that keep things moving, though some sections can feel a bit repetitive. It’s a straightforward, lighthearted game that feels like a quick dive into a colorful, busy world.
