Shrek Hassle At The Castle (E) is a side-scrolling beat 'em up for the GBA where you play as Shrek smashing through enemies to rescue his friends. The first few minutes are exactly what you'd expect—punching guards, tossing barrels, and occasionally breaking stuff just because you can.
It's got that classic early 2000s licensed game feel, where the combat is simple but satisfying in a mindless way. The animations are a little stiff, and some of the platforming bits can be awkward, but there's something oddly charming about watching Shrek bodyslam a knight into a pile of hay.
If you're looking for depth, this isn't it. But if you just want to wreck stuff as Shrek for half an hour, it does the job.
