Skitchin’ is basically Road Rash on rollerblades—which, honestly, is all I needed to hear back in the ‘90s. You’re flying down highways, grabbing onto cars to slingshot yourself forward, and smacking rival skaters with whatever junk you pick up along the way (chains, pipes, the occasional road sign).
The cities get tougher as you go, and the races turn into full-on brawls where one wrong move sends you eating pavement. Prize money lets you upgrade your gear, but no matter how fast your skates are, someone’s always ready to clothesline you into traffic. The physics are janky in that classic Sega way, and the soundtrack’s got that crunchy synth-rock vibe. It’s chaotic, ridiculous, and weirdly satisfying when you finally nail a perfect tow-sling into first place.
