Play Skyblaster Online
1988 Amiga action game. Pilot a helicopter, destroy enemy forces (tanks, planes, bases) while defending friendly bases. Switch between missiles and machine guns. 20 difficulty levels, co-op mode.
Skyblaster came out in 1988 for the Amiga, developed by reLINE Software and published by micro-partner. It was one of those straightforward action games that fit right in with the platform's early library, offering a no-fuss arcade experience without a lot of pretense.
You pilot a helicopter across a series of battlefields, tasked with destroying enemy tanks, planes, and installations while protecting your own bases. The game gives you two weapons to switch between: standard machine guns for rapid fire and limited homing missiles for tougher targets. You move screen by screen, clearing each area of threats before advancing, with twenty difficulty levels that really push your reflexes and strategy. The pacing is fast and demanding, especially once enemy fire starts coming from all directions. It feels tense and immediate, like you're constantly balancing aggression with survival.
