Sleepwalker_Disk2 is one of those weird, charming Amiga platformers that sticks with you. You play as Ralph, a cartoon dog trying to keep his sleepwalking owner Lee from stumbling into disaster—think inflating yourself like a balloon to float over gaps, punching out random thugs, and desperately steering Lee away from water (he can’t swim, naturally).
Between levels, things get surreal: you dive into Lee’s dreams, collecting tokens that let Ralph imagine petty revenge scenarios (like dropping anvils on him—hey, even loyal dogs have limits). The parallax scrolling levels feel massive, and the FMV cutscenes add this cheesy B-movie charm, especially in the A1200 version where everything’s a bit shinier.
It’s equal parts frustrating and hilarious when Lee blindly walks off a ledge for the tenth time, but that’s the whole point. Ralph’s the real MVP here.
