Game Overview
Smuggler's Run on GBA is basically you playing as a shady delivery driver with a lead foot. You're hauling illegal cargo across rough desert roads, swerving past cops who really don't want you making your drop-off. The handling's a bit slidey—takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of fishtailing around rocks and cacti, it feels pretty satisfying.
What I like is how the cops actually try to box you in or ram you off the road instead of just chasing in a straight line. First time I played, I wiped out hard when three cruisers sandwiched me against a canyon wall. Pro tip: upgrade your suspension early unless you enjoy bouncing like a pinball.
It's not the prettiest racer on the GBA, but the chases get properly tense when your truck's smoking and the cops are still on your tail.
