Snood 2: On Vacation came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, published by Destination Software. It was a cheerful little puzzle game in an era when the GBA was packed with all kinds of quirky, portable titles. This one stood out with its vacation theme, a simple but effective twist on the familiar Snood formula.
You control a launcher at the bottom of the screen, aiming and firing different Snoods upward to match groups of three or more of the same type. The main goal is to clear each screen of Snoods before they descend too far. Some Snoods act as wildcards, substituting for any color, while others trigger chain reactions or clear entire rows when matched. The pacing is relaxed at first but picks up steadily, demanding quicker aim and better planning. It feels satisfying to set off a big combo and watch the board clear itself.
