Snood 2: On Vacation came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Rebellion and published by Destination Software. It arrived late in the GBA's life, a time when the handheld was packed with puzzle games, but it stood out by taking its weird little characters on a trip. The original Snood was already a solid time waster, but this sequel gave it a vacation theme, swapping the usual backgrounds for postcard locations like sunny beaches and European landmarks.

You control a cannon at the bottom of the screen, aiming and firing different Snoods upward to connect three or more of the same kind. The main goal is to clear each screen of these grinning heads before they descend and crush you. Two mechanics define the play: Puzzle Mode, which requires careful planning to remove all pieces in a limited number of shots, and Armageddon Mode, a faster, more chaotic race against a tight timer. The game starts gently but the difficulty ramps up steadily, demanding sharper aim and quicker decisions. It feels satisfying to set off a big chain reaction and watch the whole structure tumble apart.
