Play Snow Brothers (Europe) Online
Toss snow at enemies to turn them into giant snowballs, then roll them into others—chaos ensues as they bounce around the screen. Two-player mode makes the snowball mayhem even better.

Snow Brothers came out for the NES in 1991, developed by Toaplan. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the system, a straightforward arcade style platformer without a lot of the complex RPG elements that were becoming more common. You played as one of two brothers, Nick and Tom, trying to rescue princesses from a potbellied villain.
You control your chosen brother, moving screen by screen through a monster filled castle. Your main weapon is snow; you throw it at enemies to encase them in a growing ball of snow. Once an enemy is fully covered, you can push that snowball across the platform. If it hits other enemies or walls, it shatters, clearing a path. The goal is to eliminate every enemy on the screen to open the exit door. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty builds steadily, introducing enemies that require more precise timing or clever use of the environment. It feels satisfying to set off a chain reaction, watching a single well aimed snowball clear half the stage.
