Game Overview
Solomon’s Key 2 is one of those NES puzzle-platformers that looks simple at first—just a little wizard hopping around—until you realize how deviously clever the level design is. You’ll be pushing blocks, lighting torches, and conjuring platforms out of thin air to navigate each room, and half the time you’ll think you’ve soft-locked yourself before spotting some tiny detail that saves the run.
The controls take a second to adjust to (Z and X for jumping and magic, because of course), but once it clicks, there’s something satisfying about chaining moves together to outsmart a room. Later levels get brutal, though—expect to retry the same screen a dozen times while muttering "how was I supposed to know that?" under your breath.
