Separation Anxiety came out for the Sega Genesis in 1995, developed by Software Creations and published by Acclaim. Signature mechanics include the ability to call in assist attacks from other Marvel heroes like Captain America or Iron Man, and for Venom, using his symbiote tendrils to grab and throw enemies from a distance. The pacing is fast, the difficulty can spike with crowded enemy groups, but it feels satisfying to plow through thugs with exaggerated comic-book violence.
