Play Spider-Man : Mysterio's Menace Online
Swing through a glitchy, warped New York where Mysterio’s illusions make you question every alleyway—punch goons, dodge fake buildings, and figure out what’s real before he messes with your head too much.

Spider-Man: Mysterio's Menace came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, published by Activision. It was one of the early attempts to bring a side scrolling Spider-Man game to the handheld, arriving when developers were still figuring out how to translate big console action onto that small screen. You could tell they were working within limits, but it had its own kind of charm.
You play as Spider-Man, swinging and brawling through levels to stop Mysterio's reality bending crime spree. The main goal is to progress screen by screen, defeating his henchmen and dismantling his devices before confronting the villain himself. Key mechanics include using your web to swing across gaps or temporarily stun enemies, and a simple but effective combo system for close quarters fighting. The pacing is brisk, though some enemy placements feel cheap and the platforming can be unforgiving. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes frustrating brawler that captures the basic thrill of being Spider-Man without much depth.
