Play Splatter House - Wanpaku Graffiti Online
You play as a bobblehead Rick smacking zombies with a femur, hopping tombstones, and randomly skateboarding through levels that don’t take themselves too seriously. The janky hitboxes just add to the weird charm.

Splatter House: Wanpaku Graffiti came out for the NES in 1989 from Namco, a strange and silly spin-off that felt out of place among the more straightforward platformers and action games of the time. It took the grim setup of the arcade original and ran it through a cartoon filter, trading horror for goofy, Halloween-costume spookiness.
You control a big-headed, pajama-clad version of Rick Taylor, moving screen by screen through monster-filled stages, using a two-by-four or found weapons like shotguns to clear a path. The goal is straightforward: rescue your girlfriend from a mansion packed with horror movie parodies. You jump on floating platforms, avoid instant-death pits, and occasionally hop on a skateboard for a sudden change of pace. The game is short but surprisingly tough, with some cheap enemy placements and leaps of faith. It feels like playing through a child’s crayon drawing of a B-movie, all awkward charm and unpredictable action.
