Game Overview
If you're into brutal, old-school beat 'em ups with a horror twist, Splatterhouse 2 is your kind of mess. You play as Rick, this hulking dude in a cursed mask, punching and stomping your way through a mansion full of mutants and undead freaks. The controls are simple—just walk right and mash buttons—but the enemies come at you fast, and some of the bosses are seriously gross (in the best way).
What I love is how unapologetically gory it is. You’ll tear monsters in half, watch their guts splatter everywhere, and occasionally pick up a shotgun or meat cleaver to speed things up. The soundtrack’s all eerie synths and creepy vibes, perfect for the B-movie horror feel. It’s short, but good luck clearing it without a few continues—some of those later levels get mean.
Also, yeah, your girlfriend’s still in trouble. Typical horror logic.
