SpongeBob SquarePants Volume 2 is one of those weird little time capsules—it's not a game at all, just three full episodes crammed onto a GBA cartridge. You get "The Algae's Always Greener," "SpongeBob Meets the Strangler," and "Club SpongeBob," all playable on that tiny, slightly blurry screen.

It's honestly kind of charming in a janky way. The audio's compressed to hell (RIP Squidward's clarinet), and good luck reading some of the smaller text, but there's something weirdly satisfying about watching SpongeBot and Patrick's shenanigans on hardware that was absolutely not designed for this. I used to sneak my GBA into class just to catch a few minutes of Plankton scheming between math problems.

Definitely more of a novelty than anything practical, but if you're the type who gets nostalgic for early 2000s oddities, this is peak "why did this exist" energy. Just don't expect HD—this is strictly lo-fi Bikini Bottom.
