The first few minutes feel familiar if you've played other Spyro games - you're immediately tossing fire at sheep and gliding across gaps, but the controls feel a bit stiffer on the small screen.
What stands out is how the levels twist Spyro's usual sunny settings into frosty versions of themselves. You'll see frozen waterfalls you need to melt with fire breath, and slippery ice patches that mess with your movement. The fairies you rescue get trapped in these weird ice bubbles that shatter satisfyingly when you charge through them.
