You control Spyro, charging through levels to rescue fairies frozen by an evil sorceress. The main goal involves exploring interconnected areas, flame-charging enemies, and hunting for gems to progress. Signature mechanics include gliding between platforms with careful timing and headbutting certain objects to reveal secrets. The isometric view makes judging jumps and attacks trickier than in the home console games, adding a layer of challenge.
