You control a customizable snowboarder racing down timed courses or competing in trick events across several peaks. The main goal is to earn medals, unlock new gear and characters, and conquer each mountain's challenges. Signature mechanics include building your boost meter by landing tricks, which lets you accelerate past rivals, and using a simplified trick system where combinations of directional inputs and buttons execute grabs, flips, and spins. The pacing is fast, and the isometric perspective takes some adjustment, but once you get a feel for the timing, chaining tricks becomes intuitive. It feels satisfying to nail a run without wiping out, especially when you thread through narrow gaps and leave opponents in your wake.
