Star Wars: The New Droid Army on GBA throws you right into Anakin Skywalker’s boots—and he’s pissed. Count Dooku’s building some nightmare droid army, and after their last messy encounter, Anakin’s got revenge on his mind. The whole thing plays out from this cool isometric angle, so you can actually see droids creeping up from behind before they zap you.
Lightsaber swings feel satisfyingly chunky, and you’ve got just enough Force tricks (push, jump, the usual) to keep fights from getting stale. Some of the levels drag a bit, but running into Yoda or getting strong-armed by Jabba’s goons makes up for it. If you played Jedi Power Battles, this’ll feel familiar—just with way more clanky robots to slice through.
It’s not the deepest Star Wars game, but hacking through waves of droids never gets old.
