You control Mike Jones, a young baseball player searching for his missing uncle. The game unfolds across a series of islands, moving screen by screen as you explore villages, talk to locals, and delve into multi-level dungeons. Combat relies on a simple yo-yo, which you can upgrade, and you frequently solve environmental puzzles, some requiring items found elsewhere. The pacing is deliberate, with a moderate difficulty that spikes in later dungeons. Playing it feels like slowly unraveling a quirky, personal adventure far from home.
