Download Stellar Crusade_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
1988 Amiga strategy game. Control The League or The People's Holy Republic in turn-based interstellar conflict. Manage economy, build fleets, compete for star cluster dominance via military or covert tactics. Two factions, simultaneous turn resolution, variable victory conditions.
Game Overview
Stellar Crusade is one of those deep, slow-burn strategy games where you’ll spend half your time staring at star maps and debating whether to build another mining colony or save up for a dreadnought. You play as The League, squaring off against either a friend or the AI-controlled People’s Holy Republic—basically space feudalism versus space bureaucracy.
Each turn covers three months, split into phases where you juggle resources, move fleets, and occasionally panic when an unmarked transport ship turns out to be full of enemy marines. The economy’s brutal at first—you’ll forget to upgrade factories, then wonder why your ship production’s crawling. But once you get the rhythm, there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching your little empire slowly dominate the cluster, one contested asteroid belt at a time.
Just don’t expect flashy battles. Most of the drama happens in spreadsheets and movement grids before the AI quietly resolves everything. It’s very Amiga—complex, a bit dry, but weirdly absorbing if you like methodical conquest.
